How Do I Book a Boat?

Book directly on our website by clicking "Book Now" next to your chosen boat or tour.

How long do you recommend to rent a boat for?

We recommend renting for at least 2-3 hour because it typically takes 20-30+ minutes to get out on the lake, then return back on time.

Do I Need a Boating License to Rent a Boat?

No, a commercially certified captain is provided for an additional $45/hour.

For self-operating rent (Bareboat Charter) a boating license (PCOC) and experience are required.

Can I get boating lessons?

Yes, we offer boating lessons provided by a Certified Sail Canada Instructor to help you obtain your license and practical experience.

I Have a PCOC. How Does Rent Work Then?

Present a physical copy of your boating and your driving licenses, pass a driving test, sign a contract, receive orientation, and pay a $2,500 security deposit.

What Is the Minimum Rental Period?

The minimum rental period is 1 hour.

Are Your Boats Suitable for Children and Families?

Yes, our boats are safe and comfortable for family outings.

What Is the Maximum Capacity of One Boat?

Our largest boats have a total capacity of 12 people, including children.

Can I Book a Boat for a Special Event?

Yes, we offer various options suitable for special events. Please get in touch with us in advance to discuss details or refer to our Tours pages.

What Safety Measures Do You Take?

Safety is our priority. All boats meet Canadian safety standards, are insured, and our captains are commercially certified. Safety and navigation orientations are provided for self-operating renters who have a PCOC.

What Is Included in the Boat Rental?

Rental includes the boat (price varies from $150/hour to $285/hour), safety equipment, life jackets, and brief orientation. Fuel is an additional $50/hour. The requested captain or crew costs an additional $45/hour.

Is Fuel Included in the Rental Price?

No, fuel costs $50/hour additionally.

Do You Provide Life Jackets?

Yes, for all ages. Personal life jackets for children are welcome.

Are There Restricted Areas?

Yes, restrictions for safety and environmental reasons are explained during the safety briefing.

What Happens in Case of Bad Weather?

In the event of bad weather, we prioritize safety and offer several options. We reserve the right to cancel bookings at any time due to weather conditions. Affected bookings can be rescheduled. Additionally, we provide vouchers valid for the current or next season. Please note the Customer cannot cancel bookings due to weather conditions, and no refunds or rescheduling will be provided for cancellations initiated by the Customer due to weather.

Can I Cancel or Reschedule My Booking?

It depends. Please see our cancellation policy for details.


Cancellation Policy Highlights:


a. Customer may cancel a reservation. However, cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled departure time will result in the loss of 100% of the payment. Alternatively, the Customer can request a voucher, valid until the end of the current or next season.


b. We reserve the right to cancel any booking at any time due to weather conditions to ensure safety. In such cases, rescheduling options will be provided. Customers cannot cancel bookings due to weather conditions, and no refunds or alternative rescheduling will be offered for weather-related cancellations initiated by the Customer.


c. A full refund will be issued if services cannot be provided due to federal or provincial COVID-19 regulations.


d. Any charter interrupted or shortened for any reason by Customer, including unused services, will not be eligible for refunds or vouchers.


e. Our company commits to addressing any reclamations received within 1 month following the Customer's return.

Can I Prolong My Existing Booking or Change Boats?

Yes, subject to availability. You should notify the front desk 30 minutes before your ride ends.

Do You Offer Discounts for Longer Rentals?

Yes, for rentals exceeding 6 hours, additional benefits are available. Bookings of 6+ hours receive an extra hour free, with fuel costs calculated based on usage. Options for daily and weekly rentals can be discussed.

Are Pets Allowed on the Boats?

Small pets with special life jackets are allowed on certain boats. Big pets are not allowed.

Can We Bring Our Own Food and Drinks?

Yes, but avoid glass containers. Some boats have coolers (ice not provided).

Is Alcohol Allowed on the Boat?

No.

Are Water Toys Allowed?

Yes, we can provide inflatable water toys for use while anchored. Towing of toys is not permitted.

Are Kids Allowed?

Yes, on powerboats. Kids under ten are not allowed on the sailboat.

Do you have any special programs for kids?

Yes, we offer a Summer Camp for kids aged 10-15. Please apply through the Summer Camp page.

Am I Allowed on the Boat if I'm Pregnant?

Yes, though it is not recommended.

Are the Boats Wheelchair Accessible?

Yes, personal wheelchairs must be provided by the Customer.
